Local WTC support by Prague 7 and Prague 6 district
WTC2023 Organizational Committee held negotiations with the affected city districts of Prague 6 and Prague 7 in order to obtain support for the upcoming World Tchoukball Championships. The organizing committee discussed the benefits of the championship for the citizens of individual city districts and the development of tourism in the region. Both municipalities supported the upcoming event under the patronage of the mayor and accepted the offer of the Czech Tchoukball Association z.s. to organize several events for the public, which will help not only to spread awareness about tchoukball and the event itself, but also to actively involve local residents, families and children in the sport. We believe that this cooperation will be beneficial for everyone and will bring fun and knowledge especially to local residents who have all the upcoming activities in their neighborhood.
